Job summary

Garden Village Port Macquarie is hiring compassionate caregivers to support clients at home in Port Macquarie & Hastings. This part-time role focuses on assisting with daily tasks, personal care, and enabling independence for seniors.

You will build relationships with clients and families, participate in community activities, and contribute to high-quality home care services. CPR recertification and checks are required.

Qualifications

• Access to ongoing training including recertification of CPR.
• Excellent communication, empathy and understanding of elderly needs.
• Willingness to complete required background checks and vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Assist with personal care such as showering and dressing.
• Provide transport to appointments and accompany clients on shopping trips.
• Support social outings and activities with clients.
• Develop trusted relationships with clients and their families.

The qualities we seek are

• Access to ongoing training including recertification of CPR
