Job summary

Total Resource Solutions is seeking an experienced Community & Stakeholder Engagement Officer to support major NSW government projects. The role focuses on developing and delivering engagement plans, coordinating consultations, and building strong relationships with communities and stakeholders.

Based in Sydney CBD, the position offers daily rates of $500-$600 plus super, with up to 40 hours per week and a contract until 30 November 2026.

Qualifications

Experience in community engagement or public affairs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience developing communications for diverse audiences.
Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience managing sensitive community enquiries and stakeholder concerns.
Strong organisation and coordination skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, professional and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

Develop community and stakeholder engagement plans.
Coordinate community consultations, workshops, events and information sessions.
Build relationships with community members and stakeholders.
Prepare newsletters, notices, project updates, presentations and digital content.
Manage community enquiries, feedback and issues.
Identify and escalate stakeholder risks.
