Ability Action Australia is seeking a Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Tamworth region, working close to home with a varied, community-based caseload.

You will deliver evidence-based therapy across the lifespan, addressing feeding, language, dysphagia, communication needs and AAC while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Pathology Australia membership (SPA)
• Passionate about community-based support for people with disability
• Thrives in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied, community-based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings.
• Work with individuals across the lifespan (early intervention to adults).
• Support needs including feeding, language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC.
• Conduct observations and standardized assessments to set participant-centred goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to build communication, participation and independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support outcomes.
• Caseload tailored to experience and goals.
