Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking a Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Nowra & Wollongong region, with flexible work near home. You will manage a community-based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings, addressing feeding, language, dysphagia, and AAC, and deliver therapy to improve communication and independence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied, community-based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings.
• Work with individuals across the lifespan including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults.
• Support feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC.
• Conduct observations and standardised assessments to develop meaningful participant-centered goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy that builds communication, participation and independence.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes.
• Caseload tailored to experience, interests and professional goals.
