Ability Action Australia is seeking a Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Nowra and Wollongong region, delivering services close to home in homes, schools and outreach settings.

You will work across the lifespan, from early intervention to adults, addressing feeding, language, dysphagia, AAC and communication goals, with a multidisciplinary team, clinical supervision and tailored professional development. Flexible hours and a supportive, inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied, community-based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings.
• Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults.
• Support a range of needs such as feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC.
• Conduct observations and standardised assessments to develop meaningful, participant-centered goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy that builds communication, participation and independence.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes.
• Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals.
