Job summary

A W Edwards, a long-standing NSW builder, seeks a Community and Social Impact Coordinator to support NSW Government projects in Sydney. You will manage day-to-day communications, stakeholder engagement and community relations while supporting workforce development and social initiatives.

Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, you will collaborate with project teams, subcontractors and community groups to monitor participation outcomes and drive social legacy across major construction

Qualifications

• Experience in communications, community engagement and stakeholder relations across large infrastructure or major projects.
• Experience coordinating workforce development or diversity initiatives with contractors and training providers.
• Ability to monitor participation data, KPIs and contractual commitments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver project communications and stakeholder engagement activities for the NSW Government projects.
• Communicate construction activities, changes, timeframes and impacts to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents, businesses, groups, clients and government agencies.
• Plan and facilitate stakeholder meetings, community forums, site visits and events.
• Manage enquiries, complaints and sensitive stakeholder matters.
• Support workforce development and participation initiatives by monitoring subcontractor performance and data collection.
