Job summary
Acknowledge Education in Darlinghurst, Sydney NSW is seeking an experienced Course Coordinator – Community Services to ensure quality and successful delivery of our Community Services programmes while supporting student success. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will influence curriculum quality, support academic staff, monitor course performance, and contribute to quality assurance and governance.
This role combines industry expertise with higher education experience to foster a positive
Qualifications
- AQF 9-level qualification in Community Work or related discipline.
- Minimum of three years of full-time industry experience in Community Services.
- Experience in higher education course coordination or program management.
- Knowledge of the Higher Education Standards Framework and TEQSA requirements.
- Current Paid/Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery of the Bachelor of Community Services course.
- Provide guidance to academic staff to promote excellence in learning and teaching.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to initiatives improving retention and engagement.
- Support curriculum review and enhancement for course quality and relevance.
- Contribute to quality assurance, governance, and compliance processes.
