Northern Queensland Legacy is seeking an experienced and compassionate Community Services Officer to provide practical, person-centred support to beneficiaries and their families. This newly created role will suit someone who builds trust easily, approaches sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism, and enjoys working within a collaborative, close-knit team.
You will bring:
Experience working with veterans, Defence families, aged care, ex-service organisations or volunteer-based organisations will be highly regarded.
The role will initially be office-based in Townsville, with some flexibility available once established. The successful applicant will be required to obtain or hold relevant screening, including a National Police Check and Blue Card.
Expected commencement: Mid to late October 2026.
