Kempsey Shire Council is seeking a passionate Community Recovery and Resilience Coordinator to support local recovery and build long-term resilience across the Kempsey Shire, especially after flooding and other disasters. Funded by NSW Reconstruction Authority, the role collaborates with communities, groups and agencies to design and deliver recovery, resilience and preparedness initiatives.

You will coordinate community-led projects, administer the Community Flood Recovery and Resilience Grants

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or disaster recovery.
• Experience in community development or recovery programs.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
