Job summary

Powerdatagroup in Parramatta, NSW, is seeking an experienced Project Officer to support the delivery of environmental flood recovery and clean-up projects. This 9-month contract runs from 1 November 2026 to 30 June 2027, with regional travel as needed and NSW-based arrangements.

You will provide project coordination, administration and reporting across multiple recovery activities, liaising with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to keep milestones on track.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in project support, administration or coordination.
• Experience supporting contractor-led or on-ground projects.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of flood recovery projects focused on environmental clean-up and on-ground outcomes.
• Coordinate project activities to meet milestones and deliverables.
• Provide day-to-day project and administrative support, including minutes.
• Collect, maintain and update project information for reporting.
• Prepare reports, briefings and project documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Support meetings and project forums with timely information.
• Communicate with participants and the public by phone and email.
• Help senior team manage competing priorities across projects.
• Maintain accurate project governance documentation.
