Job summary

The Local Government Council is seeking an experienced Ranger to join a progressive, community-focused team and help maintain safe, welcoming public spaces for residents. As the face of the council, you will patrol, investigate complaints, enforce local laws, educate residents on duties and compliance, and work with internal departments and external partners to promote safety.

Qualifications

• ROCS 1 & 2 (Essential)
• Previous Ranger
• Current WA Driver's Licence
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Sound understanding of relevant legislation and local laws

Responsibilities

• Enforce local laws and regulations across the municipality
• Investigate and respond to community complaints
• Conduct patrols of public spaces and council facilities
• Educate residents on responsible behaviour and compliance requirements
• Work collaboratively with internal departments and external stakeholders to promote community safety
