Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families in Lowood, QLD is seeking a Personal Carer Domestic to support clients in their homes and community, helping with daily activities and domestic tasks. You will travel to client visits in the Lowood and surrounding areas, provide cleaning, meal prep, laundry, and transport support, with a focus on preserving independence and quality of life.

Eligible applicants have a current Australian driver’s licence and access to a suitable vehicle; salary

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work - Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled visits and interact one-on-one with clients in their homes
• Provide domestic assistance including cleaning, meal prep, laundry, and ironing
• Assist with shopping and appointments and transport to activities
