Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families is seeking a Personal Carer Domestic in Mt Isa and surrounding areas to support people living in the community. You will provide in-home care, assist with daily activities, meal prep, cleaning and transportation, helping clients maintain independence.

The role is permanent part-time with a licence and vehicle required, and offers salary packaging benefits and travel reimbursements as part of a Not-for-Profit package.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work - Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc

Responsibilities

• Provide care to clients in their homes, supporting independence and quality of life
• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits and interacting one-on-one with clients
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal prep, laundry and ironing
• Assist with transportation, shopping and appointments
