Job summary

Suncare Community Services Ltd is seeking a Community Occupational Therapist to support older adults in North Lakes and across the Brisbane region. You’ll provide in-home and community OT, focusing on independence and quality of life, with a values-driven, supportive Allied Health team.

This role offers flexible, hybrid working options, Not-for-Profit salary packaging up to $15,900 per year, and a CPD allowance to support your learning goals. A driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Experience supporting older people with OT care in the community.
• Have a valid driver's license and a insured vehicle.
• Demonstrate warmth, clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Be tech‑savvy, organized and able to keep notes and plans up to date.
• Commitment to learning, including First Aid/CPR and safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities

• Join a supportive Allied Health team delivering person-centred OT in homes and communities.
• Complete assessments and recommend equipment to support independence.
• Prescribe exercises and practical strategies for staying active.
• Collaborate with customers, carers, families and partners to tailor support.
• Share knowledge with the team and contribute to continual improvement.
