Job summary

Suncare Community Services Ltd is seeking a Community Occupational Therapist for Gympie, Queensland. Base in Gympie with flexible hours, full-time or part-time, delivering holistic OT care in home and community settings.

You’ll assess, plan and implement equipment needs and independence strategies for older adults. You’ll join an Allied Health team committed to values-driven care, professional development, and strong community connections, with not-for-profit salary packaging up to AU$15,900 and

Qualifications

• Hold a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Experience supporting older people with OT care in the community.
• Hold a valid driver’s licence and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and prescribe equipment to support daily living.
• Recommend exercises and strategies to promote independence.
• Collaborate with customers, carers and community partners to tailor care.
• Share knowledge with the team and contribute to service improvements.
