Village Early Education – Springvale South VIC is seeking a dedicated Community Leader to work with the Centre Manager in a dual Educational Leader and Assistant Director role. You will lead quality practice, mentor educators, support daily operations, and positively impact children, families, and staff.

With a Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, WWC clearance, and essential training, you will drive curriculum quality, compliance with NQF/WHS, and community engagement, while shaping

• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Accredited emergency response training (anaphylaxis & asthma).
• Child Protection training certification.

Are you passionate about education and ready to lead with enthusiasm and vision? Our established Springvale South Centre is looking for a dedicated and dynamic Community Leader to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive, experienced team where you'll work alongside the Centre Manager in a dual Educational Leader and Assistant Director role. You'll lead quality practice, mentor educators, support the day-to-day operations of the Centre, and make a meaningful impact on children, families, and your team every day.

We understand our responsibilities and statutory duty of care and are committed toraising awareness about the importance of child safety in our organisation and our communities, whichis essential for promoting healthy and safe learning environments for children.

Qualifications:

• A Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution, as outlined by ACECQA.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Accredited training in emergency response, including anaphylaxis and asthma management.
• Child Protection training certification.

Essential Experience:

• At least 3 years of leadership experience in Early Childhood Services or a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the field.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, develop curriculums, manage administrative procedures, and liaise with parents and communities.
• Solid understanding of WHS legislation and compliance systems, including the Child Care Subsidy (CCS).
• Extensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework and its components
• Willingness to assume the role of Nominated Supervisor under relevant national laws and regulations.
