Job summary

Corangamite Shire Council is seeking a Community Development and Engagement Coordinator to lead and deliver community initiatives across the shire. You will facilitate engagement opportunities and ensure community perspectives shape Council planning and programs.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a commitment to integrity, teamwork and respect. A Victorian Driver’s Licence and relevant checks are required or able to be obtained.

Qualifications

• Experience in community development and community engagement.
• Ability to lead programs and supervise staff.
• Excellent written and oral communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to build capacity and empower communities.
• Commitment to integrity, teamwork and respect.
• Victorian Driver’s Licence, Working with Children check and National Police Check, or ability to obtain.
