The Todd Street program provides more than housing. It offers safety, stability and a chance for people to rebuild their lives with dignity. Many residents are navigating trauma, homelessness, cultural disconnection and complex challenges. Your presence helps create a place where people feel respected, supported and welcomed without judgement.

This role is an opportunity to walk alongside residents at a time when they are working hard to regain stability. Every conversation, every welfare check and every moment of support contribute to someone feeling seen, valued and encouraged. If you find purpose in helping people, feel safe, connected and confident in their future, this work will speak to you.

About The Role

As a Community Housing Support Worker, you will support residents living in transitional housing while ensuring the property remains safe, well maintained and welcoming. You will build positive relationships with residents, help them settle in, respond to day-to-day needs and ensure tenancy requirements are met in a respectful and supportive way.

Your work will include tenancy management, welfare checks, resident engagement, safety monitoring and coordination with contractors. You will also contribute to a calm and respectful environment by responding to maintenance issues, supporting new intakes and ensuring records are kept up to date.

  • Support residents through regular communication, welfare checks and respectful engagement

  • Manage tenancy requirements including inspections, rent ledgers, leases and maintenance

  • Respond to urgent matters including non-rental payment, safety concerns and immediate needs

  • Maintain accurate tenant records and update data in line with TSA standards

  • Coordinate grounds keeping and maintenance with contractors and the Caretaker or Cleaner

  • Prepare properties for new intakes and complete final inspections

  • Report incidents and risks in accordance with TSA policies and procedures

  • Contribute to a safe, calm and culturally respectful environment for all residents
