Job summary
Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Programs and Community Engagement Manager (Health Manager Level 3) to lead community health initiatives within Drug Health Services. You will drive strategies for staff engagement, health promotion and library management while collaborating with the DHS Executive.
The role requires leadership of complex projects, strong data reporting, and a formal qualification in people management.
Qualifications
- Experience leading complex projects with multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to analyse data and report outcomes.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proven skills in personnel management and leading teams.
- Must work on a 5-day roster (Mon-Fri).
- Current NSW Driver Licence (P1/P2 acceptable).
Responsibilities
- Lead programs that transform lives and improve community health outcomes.
- Oversee two project officers and two library staff.
- Develop and lead a community strategy addressing drug/alcohol harms and public amenity issues.
- Oversee the statewide Drug and Alcohol Health Services Library.
- Support DHS Executive with project delivery within timeframes.
