Job summary

Lismore City Council's Goonellabah Sports & Aquatic Centre (GSAC) and Switch 24/7 Gym are seeking a motivated Fitness/Gym Services Officer. This permanent part-time role (35 hours/week) focuses on delivering excellent member service, helping run the gym smoothly, and supporting fitness programs in a welcoming community setting.

You will work with the Gym and Fitness Coordinator to motivate members, promote fitness initiatives, and maintain a clean, safe gym environment while contributing to an

Qualifications

• Certificate III and Certificate IV in Fitness or an equivalent Sport and Exercise Science Bachelor Degree.
• First Aid Certificate with CPR (current).
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) required or willing to obtain.
• Specific Group Fitness training.
• At least 2 years' experience as a Group Fitness Instructor.
• Hands-on experience in developing campaigns and promotions.

• Providing encouragement, guidance and motivation to members.
