Shellharbour City Council is seeking a Community Facilities Manager based at the Oak Flats Services Depot to oversee marina foreshore and building maintenance, city presentation, and cemetery management. You will lead projects, manage budgets, and engage with stakeholders to deliver high standards of service delivery.

The role requires a degree in engineering, project management, or construction management, strong leadership, and financial management skills.

Formación

• Degree qualifications in engineering, project management, or construction management or substantially commenced.
• Proven experience in managing diverse teams and operational functions.
• Strong project management and financial management skills.
• Ability to implement and review quality management systems and safety plans.
• Current Class C NSW Driver’s License and relevant safety certifications.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders and lead projects to meet community facility needs.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee marina foreshore maintenance.
• Oversee building maintenance works and operational contracts for various services.
• Implement and oversee maintenance and improvement programs for city presentation, including cleaning community facilities.
• Manage Council's customer focused cemeteries to meet community needs and regulations.
• Coordinate resources and manage budgets for operational activities.
• Lead and support direct reports in their responsibilities and professional development.
• Participate in emergency response activities and represent the team at relevant meetings.
