Job summary

Shellharbour City Council is seeking a Team Coordinator for Cemeteries & Presentation to lead a dedicated team across cleaners, city presentation crew, street sweepers and cemeteries. Based at the Oak Flats Services Depot, you will drive maintenance and presentation programs to keep the city at the highest standards.

This permanent full-time role offers a salary from $92,894 to $102,562 per annum, a lease-back vehicle and a range of local government benefits.

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure maintenance, scheduling, and crew supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff and customers.
  • Demonstrated Financial management skills for effective control within allocated budget.

The Team Coordinator Cemeteries & Presentation will play a pivotal role in the delivery of essential functions aimed at maintaining and enhancing public spaces and facilities across the city.

Based at the Oak Flats Services Depot, you will lead a dedicated team, ensuring that our city is presented to the highest standards and that all maintenance and improvement initiatives are executed effectively.

The position is responsible for managing Councils cleaners, city presentation crew, street sweepers and cemeteries and offers a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact on your community while developing your leadership skills and expertise in infrastructure management.
