Job summary

cape group is seeking a Disability Support Worker – Community Options to provide high quality community-based support for people with disabilities. You will implement support plans, assist with personal care, and promote independence and inclusion.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in Disability or Aged Care, NDIS experience, and a current Victorian Drivers Licence; Auslan is a plus. Multiple sites across Nunawading and Croydon offer casual hours with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Disability or Aged Care.
• Experience providing NDIS supports is essential.
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Uphold rights, dignity, privacy and safety of people supported.
• Provide personalised daily support, including personal care and health needs.
• Support individuals to plan and achieve personal goals through plans.
