Job summary

Healthscope Independence Services in Glen Waverley, VIC seeks a dedicated Disability Support Worker to help clients live independently. You will provide daily living assistance, personal care, and community engagement within a supportive team and compliant with NDIS standards.

The role requires Certificate III/IV in Disability or related qualification, with at least 1 year in the field, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work various shifts. Training and development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in disability or healthcare services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work across a range of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation and feeding.
• Assist with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Support clients in community-based activities and social outings.
• Ensure documentation is thorough and up to date (daily notes, progress reports).
• Adhere to organisational policies, including medication administration and WHS.
