Job summary

Surf Life Saving South Australia is seeking an Aquatic Programs Coordinator to implement pool programs and multicultural community initiatives, connecting children and communities with lifesaving skills. Qualifications

• Experience coordinating community and education programs, preferably in aquatic or youth programs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration with schools and community groups.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of SLSSA community programs, including VACSWIM and multicultural initiatives.
• Prepare lesson outcomes, plans and instructor guides with subject matter experts.
• Identify program risks and implement practical controls.
• Prepare timetables, respond to demand and adjust for children with disability.
• Recruit, roster and support program staff, ensuring required qualifications.
• Maintain enrolment and staffing records; report system issues promptly.
• Respond to customer inquiries with a service focus during peak season (Sept–Jan).
• Keep website information current and assist with program promotion.
