Job summary

JLL Brisbane is seeking a Community Ambassador to welcome employees and guests, delivering warm hospitality at reception and supporting smooth operations through admin tasks and premium service.

You will respond to enquiries, manage visitor registration and room bookings, coordinate with the team and contractors, and help drive workplace initiatives like sustainability and DE&I, while upholding company policies and delivering a premium brand experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in Hospitality, Tourism, retail, administrative sector, or related professional area.
• Diploma from an accredited institute.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

• Create a comfortable, welcoming, and professional experience for employees and their guests.
• Respond to clients’ enquiries for special arrangements or services including but not limited to visitor management, room bookings and event support.
• Handle internal and external calls and correspondence.
• Be an expert on the office and the surrounding area, know it inside and out to exceed staff and client expectations.
• Inventory management/ ordering office consumables.
• Assist with invoicing processes to support financial management in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by Workplace Ambassador.
• Support all regional initiatives such as JLL system rollouts, regional training, community engagement, digitalisation of the workplace, sustainability, and DE&I.
• Work with the wider team, contractors and on-site cleaners to ensure seamless delivery across all moving parts.

An overview of the role:

Site Operations

Human Experience

• Support the delivery of programs that drive employee engagement, sense of belonging, excitement and community at work that contribute to employee productivity and pride.
• Build and strengthen relationships with staff and clients, exhibiting our premium service.
• Be the main point of contact and face of the brand for all external and internal personnel.
• Foster a sense of community and create a positive vibe at work for our team, our client, and their guests.
• Ensure you uphold all company policies and procedures and complete all required tasks in a prompt and thorough manner.

Visitor Management

• Provide personable and efficient visitor registration services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in managing visitor access through clients Visitor Management Systems (VMS).
• Enhance safety and security of our client’s facility by management of visitor movement.
• Execute emergency response plan to ensure safety of client and guest when necessary.

Meeting Room Booking

• Assist and educate client to achieve optimization and efficiency for meeting room bookings.
• Enhance user comfort and services by efficient turnaround of meeting rooms.
• Setting up and breaking down rooms as necessary for internal and external events

Any other tasks not stated here that are consistent and in line with the role of Community Ambassador.
