Job summary

LME Care invites applications for a SIL Support Worker to empower a young participant with complex behaviors. The role runs Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 10:30 am, supporting daily activities, social engagement and goal achievement in a caring, participant-centered manner.

You will join a dynamic team on the Gold Coast, bringing empathy, creativity and practical support to help participants reach meaningful goals and build confidence over time.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Individual Disability Support or equivalent, or willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Experience in complex behaviors and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Celebrate achievements, both big and small, and help make every day meaningful.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment while encouraging independence and choice.

Who You Are

• You are an experienced female support worker as requested by the participant
• You hold a Cert III in Individual Disability Support or equivalent, or are eager to learn and grow in the role
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• You have experience in complex behaviors and crisis intervention
