MEC NT is seeking qualified Communications Technicians to install, program, maintain and repair communications and cabling systems across the Northern Territory. The role offers an autonomous position on large-scale projects with private, Government and Defence exposure.
You will work safely to agreed diagrams and plans, hold a Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology, and possess a current Australian Driver Licence and White Card.

Seeking qualified Communications Technicians to maintain communications and security systems safely and efficiently. Delivering compliant, high-quality outcomes while working autonomously and supporting project and operational objectives
Install, program, maintain, and repair communications, cabling systems, related components, board panels, and associated equipment and infrastructure whilst following diagrams, project scope of works, procedures, electrical layouts and building plans.

Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology

Current Australian Drivers Licence
Construction Induction (White Card)
High knowledge in OHS/WHS Requirements
Be capable of passing a drug & alcohol test and police check
A strong work ethic and ability to work in remote environments(both independently as well as part of a team)
Cert III in Electrotechnology Electrician
