Job summary

MEC NT are seeking a hands-on Civil Supervisor who leads from the front. You'll have experience delivering subdivision projects, coordinating crews and resources, and ensuring pipe and conduit installations are completed safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering subdivision works and underground service installations.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and plans.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with proactive problem solving.
• Current driver’s license is essential.
• Pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening and police check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise civil crews across subdivision and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate pipe, conduit, pit and underground service installations.
• Plan daily works, conduct pre-starts and allocate resources.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on schedule and to specification.
• Manage plant, subcontractors and material deliveries.
• Read and interpret drawings and oversee quality outcomes.
• Attend site meetings and drive a positive safety culture.
• Assist with hands-on civil works when required.

About the Role:

What you'll be doing:

Current Australian Drivers Licence

Construction Induction (White Card)

Ability to pass a police clearance as well as drug and alcohol testing

A strong work ethic and effective communication skills

What we're looking for:

Strong knowledge of subdivision works and underground service installations.

Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and plans.

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

White Card and current driver's licence.

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening and police check.

Civil Contractor Management or Frontline Leadership qualifications

Cert III or Cert IV in Civil Construction
