Qualifications

• Open Cabler Registration Licence with endorsements required.
• Construction White Card required for site access and safety.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence is mandatory.
• Experience installing and terminating structured cabling systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Fibre optic experience or accreditation highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Role

As a Communications Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, termination, testing and commissioning of communications infrastructure and technology systems across a variety of commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and termination of structured cabling systems
• Fibre optic installation, testing and fault finding
• Installation of Audio Visual and Unified Communications equipment
• Testing, labelling and commissioning of communications infrastructure
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and compliance
• Working collaboratively with project teams to ensure successful project delivery

About You
