Job summary

Roc Consulting in Sydney is seeking an experienced AV Installer to join our hands‑on field team. You will install Commercial Audio Visual systems across corporate offices, education, government and healthcare projects, working with an experienced crew on varied sites.

Ideal candidates have experience with Crestron, Control4, KNX, Extron or Q-SYS, strong cabling skills, and the ability to read plans. In return, we offer up to AUD 120k, company vehicle, super, overtime and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience installing Commercial Audio Visual systems (or strong residential AV looking to transition to commercial).
• Exposure to Crestron, Control4, KNX, Extron or Q-SYS is preferred.
• Experience with structured cabling, data and fibre installation.
• Strong workmanship and attention to detail; ability to read plans and work independently on site.

The Opportunity

This is a hands‑on field role where you'll work on a variety of commercial AV projects throughout Sydney, installing premium workplace technology alongside an experienced team.

No two days are the same, with projects ranging from modern corporate fit-outs through to large‑scale commercial developments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installation of Commercial & Residential Audio Visual equipment
• Structured cabling, fibre and data infrastructure
• Building and terminating communications racks
• Cable testing and fault finding
• Supporting Project Managers throughout project delivery
• Ensuring installations are completed safely and to a high standard

About You

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Experience installing Commercial Audio Visual systems (or strong Residential AV experience looking to transition into commercial)
• Exposure to relevant Systems such as Crestron, Control4, KNX, Extron, Q‑SYS etc
• Experience with structured cabling, data and fibre installation
• Strong workmanship and attention to detail
• Ability to read plans and work independently on site
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Australian Permanent Residency or Australian / New Zealand Citizenship
