Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in communication, journalism or public relations are essential.

Responsibilities

• Execute frontline communications across multiple customer channels.

• Draft internal communications including updates, quick guides, intranet posts, FAQs and leader messages.
• Source, write and edit corporate communications content such as news articles, key messages and scripts.
• Support business with tactical communications requirements and provide recommendations.

An excellent career opportunity exists for a up and coming internal/corporate communications professional to join this large organisation in a permanent role.

You will join a team who is driving strategic communications to enhance employee engagement and the company's brand and reputation.

Some of the key tasks you will be responsible for include -

Upload, maintain and refresh content on the intranet, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

Execute frontline communications across various customer channels

Create and adapt written, visual and short-form video content using Canva, Shootsa and equivalent tools.

Draft internal communications including updates, quick guides, intranet posts, FAQs and leader messages.

Support the business with tactical communications requirements where necessary and provide advice and recommendations on communication activities.

You will source, write and edit corporate communications content for the business internally including: news articles, key messages, manager toolkits, briefings and scripts

Tertiary qualifications in communication, journalism or public relations are essential as is previous experience working in an internal/corporate communications role.

To be successful in this role you will have the following -

Strong written communication with an eye for clarity, simplicity and accuracy

Sound judgement and confidence advising stakeholders on communication approach, priority and timing

Comfort operating autonomously while escalating issues appropriately

Ability to translate complex information into engaging messaging across the business

Experience with Canva or similar tools for basic design
