The successful candidate will bring strong customer service, experience in communications, and a good understanding of local government.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and proven communications experience.
• Sound understanding of local government and public sector communications.
• Qualifications in Communications, Business Administration or related discipline are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Promote Council services, activities and events across print, digital, web and media.
• Plan, coordinate and implement marketing and communication strategies.
• Engage the community and maintain a positive public image for the Council.
