Job summary

Randstad partners with a well known EPC to hire a Commissioning Manager based in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs depot. You will lead a field testing team, oversee scheduling, resource allocation and timesheets, while developing and maintaining ITP documentation for pre- and commissioning tests.

You will mentor the team in commissioning electrical infrastructure, with emphasis on safety, quality management, and continuous improvement. Local work with stable hours is offered.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent gained through industry experience and training.
• Direct experience leading technical field teams.
• Experience commissioning power system projects.
• Experience testing Power System Primary and Secondary Plant.
• Experience implementing commissioning and quality management systems.
• Strong time management and leadership skills.
• Continuous drive for improvement and development of others.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Field Testing team and oversee scheduling of works.
• Allocate resources and approve timesheets.
• Manage on-call roster and provide technical advice.
• Ensure tools, resources and processes for safe, efficient testing.
• Develop pre-commissioning and commissioning test documentation (ITP library).
• Review cost estimates, commissioning schedules, ITPs and cut-over plans.
• Mentor and train the wider team on technical commissioning aspects.
