Job summary

Randstad in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead the Field Testing team for power systems projects. You will oversee scheduling, resource allocation, timesheets, and on-call rosters while driving a safety-first culture and technical excellence.

You will mentor a team of HV testers, develop and maintain ITP documentation, review cost estimates, and drive commissioning schedules and cut-over plans to ensure efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent knowledge gained through industry experience and training.
• Experience leading technical field teams.
• Experience in commissioning power system projects.
• Experience testing Power System Primary Plant and Secondary Systems.
• Experience developing commissioning and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling of works and allocate resources for the Field Testing team.
• Approve timesheets and manage the on-call roster.
• Provide technical advice and promote a safety-first culture for the team.
• Ensure the Testing Team has tools, resources and processes to perform work safely and efficiently.
• Develop documentation for pre-commissioning and commissioning tests via the ITP library; review cost estimates, schedules, ITPs and cut-over plans.
