Job summary

Eaton in Melbourne is seeking a Commissioning Manager / Field Project Manager to lead delivery of critical electrical infrastructure projects. You will own site-based project execution and guide multidisciplinary teams from installation through commissioning to handover.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience delivering electrical infrastructure, commissioning, construction, or critical power projects.
• Experience managing project delivery, contractors, vendors, risk, and site operations.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in complex project environments.
• Qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based project delivery across the full project lifecycle.
• Develop delivery, installation, commissioning, and resource plans to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate customers, contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and field resources.
• Manage project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Monitor project progress, financial performance, and delivery milestones.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide leadership across complex project environments.
• Drive safe, compliant, and high-quality project outcomes.
