As a Commis Chef you will assist with menu preparation, maintain stock control, and ensure the kitchen remains clean and well-maintained under the guidance of the Head Chef.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items with variety and flair within hotel cost margins.
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimise wastage with stock control procedures.
• Keep all working areas clean and tidy, wash dishes and kitchen equipment, and report problems to the Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Prepare and present menu items showing variety and flair, within the cost margins specified by the hotel.
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.
• Keep all working areas clean and tidy including washing dishes and kitchen cleaning. Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the Head Chef
