Job summary

Pullman Magenta Shores on the NSW Central Coast is seeking a passionate Commis Chef to learn from our experienced senior chefs and contribute to dishes that leave a lasting impression on guests.

In a fast-paced, luxury kitchen you’ll prep, assist with service, and help maintain HACCP standards, while benefiting from Accor’s industry-leading training, ALL loyalty program, and worldwide opportunities. You’ll thrive in a supportive team with flexible shifts in a beautiful setting.

Qualifications

• Proven culinary training and employment experience.
• Commercial cookery certification and food safety certification where applicable.
• Ability to learn from senior chefs and work as part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that food presented to guests aligns with property standards and is served within designated timeframes, whilst maintaining high quality and presentation
• Stay diligent in adhering to local regulations related to health, safety, and compliance, with a solid grasp of HACCP management
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in preparing food items
• Receive ongoing training and guidance from senior chefs
• Handle a range of kitchen tasks, from dishwashing to crafting delectable dishes
