Job summary

Mantra Club Croc in Airlie Beach, Whitsundays region, is seeking a Commis Chef to learn from our senior chefs and demonstrate a strong passion for food in a vibrant resort kitchen.

You will contribute to a fast-paced team, preparing a variety of dishes, maintaining HACCP standards, and supporting daily kitchen operations while benefiting from Accor's training platforms and global opportunities.

Qualifications

• Recognised culinary training and employment experience.
• Commercial cookery certification and safe food handling certificate.
• Ambition, talent and passion for food.
• Open to feedback and willingness to experiment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food presented meets standards and is served on time.
• Adhere to health, safety and HACCP regulations.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and efficiency in food preparation.
• Receive training from senior chefs and apply learnings.
• Handle a range of kitchen tasks from dishwashing to cooking.
