Job summary

EVT Limited in Australia is hiring Full-Time & Casual Commis Chefs for a brand new property. You will join a busy kitchen, preparing dishes and supporting multiple sections including larder and fryer.

A strong focus on food safety, hygiene and WH&S is essential, with the ability to work under pressure and follow kitchen procedures. You’ll collaborate with a professional team, delivering consistent quality year-round.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a restaurant, bistro or hotel kitchen.
• Experience across sections including larder and fryer is ideal.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WH&S practices.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure and follow kitchen procedures.
• Passion for food preparation and willingness to learn across all kitchen areas.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a professional attitude.
• Comply with hotel policies, WH&S guidelines and maintain product knowledge.
