Job summary

EVT's Atura Adelaide is seeking a commis chef to join our hospitality team. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of commis chef experience, with flexibility to work across kitchen sections and a passion for breakfast or dinner shifts.

We train across the kitchen and uphold strong food safety, hygiene and WH&S standards, while thriving under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Join EVT for Daymaker-style growth across hotels and venues, with perks starting on day one including dining and stay

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a commis chef in hotels, restaurants or bistros.
• Experience across different kitchen sections is ideal, but training is available.
• Passion for cooking and for breakfast or dinner shifts.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and WH&S practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow kitchen procedures.
• Willingness to learn across all kitchen areas.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with a professional attitude.
