Job summary

Atura Hotels is hiring Full-Time and Casual Commis Chefs to join an energetic team at our new property. We’re seeking candidates with 1+ years’ restaurant, bistro or hotel experience and a good grasp of food safety, hygiene and WHS practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in a restaurant, bistro or hotel.
• Experience on larder and fryer is ideal.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WHS practices.
• Able to work under pressure and follow kitchen procedures.
• Passion for food preparation and willingness to learn across all kitchen areas.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Work across kitchen sections as required.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

• 1+ years' worth of experience working in a restaurant, bistro or hotel.
• Experience on different sections including larder and fryer is ideal.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WH&S practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow kitchen procedures.
• Passion for food preparation and willingness to learn across all kitchen areas.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a professional attitude.
