Job summary

Hyatt Hotel Canberra is seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join our Banquets Kitchen, delivering high-quality food in line with Hyatt Standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned station.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and talented chefs who strives in exceeding guests' expectations and wants to join a team that priorities diversity, inclusion in a professional and fun working environment

As a Commis Chef in our Banquets Kitchen, you will beresponsible to prepare consistent, high-quality food products in line with Hyatt Standards.

Some of the responsibilities include

• Assisting in preparation of ingredients
• Follow recipes and ensure consistency in food preparation for large-scale banquet events.
• To maintain the assigned station / section in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
• Cook and assemble dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
