Job summary

Accor’s Pullman Adelaide is seeking a professional chef to join our kitchen team. You will prepare mis-en-place, help create exciting menu items, and ensure strict stock rotation to minimise waste.

We expect a qualified chef with at least 1 year in a similar role, strong food safety knowledge including HACCP, excellent communication and presentation, and the ability to multitask under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chef with Cert IV or international AU equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a similar role.
• Sound understanding of Food Safety Practices and HACCP.
• Excellent communication and presentation standards.
• Impeccably groomed with ability to multitask under pressure.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Qualified Chef (Commercial Cookery Cert IV or international equivalent trade recognized in AU)
• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a similar role
• Sound understanding of Food Safety Practices. Modified Food Diet experience in a commercial kitchen environment is an advantage.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for food and displaying very high standards of production and presentation
• You have a working understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP.
• Have excellent communication
• You are impeccably groomed and presented.
• You have the capacity to multi task, cope well under pressure and are able to meet tight deadlines.
