Job description

We shape leading experiences across office, retail, logistics and student accommodation.

We’re one of Australia’s largest property groups, managing $38.9 billion worth of assets across the country.

Our sustainable returns from investments come from focusing on what matters most to customers — a great experience and doing good. Every day, our people are driving positive impact for people, place and planet. They’re inquisitive, pioneering industry firsts and pushing new ideas to deliver exceptional outcomes.

This passion and expertise creates an employee experience that puts wellbeing, flexibility and opportunity first.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial & Supplier Manager to join our IT function, taking accountability for commercial, contractual, procurement and supplier governance across the technology portfolio.

This role is central to ensuring IT investments deliver measurable value, vendor performance is optimised and contractual risk is well managed. Working closely with the IT management team, Legal and Risk, you will lead procurement execution, contract lifecycle management and vendor governance bringing the commercial discipline and rigour needed to support our organisational priorities.

What you will be doing

  • Own the full IT contract lifecycle — sourcing, negotiation, execution, renewal, variation and termination — via a centralised contract register with proactive monitoring of key dates, SLAs and KPIs.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with vendors, managed service providers and cloud partners to secure value for money and manage risk.
  • Maintain supplier risk frameworks, performance scorecards and governance cadences for material suppliers, ensuring contracts address cybersecurity, privacy, data protection and business continuity.
  • Manage vendor disputes, escalations and remediation.
  • Serve as the primary procurement lead for IT, managing end-to-end purchasing, business cases, evaluations and approvals.
  • Develop and execute RFPs, RFQs and tender processes, including market scans, commercial due diligence and evaluation frameworks.
  • Shape and maintain procurement frameworks, including preferred supplier arrangements, category management and renewals.
  • Maintain governance frameworks to ensure policy and regulatory compliance, with audit-ready documentation and support for internal and external audits.
  • Develop performance dashboards and governance reporting for leadership.

What makes you stand out

You will be the primary procurement lead for IT, owning end-to-end purchasing, governance and compliance across the technology portfolio.
