Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial property claims including fire, storm, water damage, theft, and business interruption.
• Review policy coverage and assess claim validity in accordance with policy terms and conditions.
• Coordinate with loss adjusters, builders, assessors, brokers, legal representatives and external suppliers.
• Conduct investigations and gather documentation to determine liability and settlement outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements within delegated authority limits.
• Maintain accurate claim records and reporting in claims management systems.
• Ensure claims are managed efficiently within SLAs and provide updates to clients.
• Contribute to process improvements and compliance requirements.

About the Role

As part of our Commercial Property Claims Team, your primary purpose will be to manage Commercial Property claims from lodgement through to resolution. The successful candidate will assess claim validity, liaise with stakeholders, and ensuretimely, fair, andaccurateclaim outcomes whilemaintaininga high levelof client service.

360 Key Responsibilities.

• Manage a portfolio of commercial property claims including fire, storm, water damage, theft, and business interruption claims.
• Review policy coverage and assess claim validityin accordance withpolicy terms and conditions.
• Coordinate and liaise with loss adjusters, builders, assessors, brokers, legal representatives, and external suppliers.
• Conduct investigations and gather supporting documentation todetermineliability and settlement outcomes.
• Negotiate claim settlements within delegated authority limits.
• Maintainaccurateclaim records, file notes, and reporting within claims management systems
• Ensure claims are managed efficiently and within service level agreements (SLAs).
• Provide regular updates and professional support to clients and stakeholders throughout the claims process.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and compliance requirements.
• Be a team player.

Successful Candidate Will Have…

• Previousexperience in commercial property claims, insurance, loss adjusting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies and claims handling procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound decision-making skills and commercial judgement.
• Proficiencyin claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
