Job summary

Haylo People Pty Ltd is recruiting a Commercial Property Claims Manager to join their Sydney team. You will manage a complex portfolio, handling commercial property claims with a focus on timely settlements and regulatory compliance.

The role sits in Sydney CBD with 3 days work from home and a Monday–Friday schedule. Salary ranges from AU$90,000 to AU$110,000 plus super and a bonus, with permanent full-time employment and visa/citizenship considerations for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in insurance claims handling within Commercial Property.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Adaptable, proactive, and fast-moving.

Responsibilities

• Confidently manage a variety of complex commercial property claims, including CAT-related claims and ISR.
• Conduct liability assessment, reserve management and evaluate recoveries.
• Oversee accounts with invoices, settlements and funds management.
• Develop strong connections with brokers, investigators, loss adjusters and legal professionals.
• Deliver exceptional service tailored to diverse client needs.
• Action claims quickly and in line with SLA and industry regulations.

General Insurance. We’re partnered with a leading Claims Management business who is currently looking for a Commercial Property Claims Manager to join their Sydney team and manage a complex portfolio of property claims.

• Location: Sydney CBD | 3 days work from home
• Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm | Strong work-life balance
• Salary:$90,000 - $110,000 + Super + Bonus

The Role

As a Commercial Property Claims Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Confidently manage a variety of complex claims, focussing on commercial property. Wider lines included such as CAT related claims, Business Pack and ISR
• Conduct liability assessment, reserve management and evaluate recoveries
• Oversee accounts with the responsibility of invoices, settlement processes and managing funds
• Develop strong connections with clients such as: brokers, investigators, loss adjusters and legal professionals
• Deliver exceptional service tailored to diverse needs
• Actioning claims quickly and effectively, complying with company standards and SLA requirements.
• Guarantee compliance with industry regulations, legal mandates, and company policies
