Job summary

AustCorp Executive in Adelaide is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to lead multiple structural steel projects end-to-end, delivering safe, on-time and profitable outcomes.

You will coordinate drafting, procurement, fabrication, painting, transport and erection, manage RFIs and variations, lead client meetings and drive cost control with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Project management experience in construction (structural steel preferred).
• Strong costing, budgeting, variations and contract administration skills.
• Confident reading of structural drawings and specifications.
• Ability to run multiple projects and keep big-picture view.
• Excel skills for cost control and reporting.
• Clear communicator and solid negotiator.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and scopes, assess commercial viability and own budgets and margins.

The company

This is a long-established Adelaide structural steel contractor delivering complete steel packages (drafting, fabrication, painting and erection) on many of the city's leading construction projects. It has a strong reputation built on quality, consistency and long-term builder relationships, and it's growing.

The role

You'll manage multiple projects from contract review to completion, making sure each one is delivered safely, on time and profitably. You'll:

• Review contracts and scopes, assess commercial viability and own budgets and margins

• Manage RFIs, variations, contractual issues and project documentation
