ASUS, a technology-focused company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Product Manager to join the System Commercial Business Group in New South Wales. You will drive growth of the commercial product portfolio through strategy, lifecycle management, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires at least 5 years in product or commercial management within IT hardware, a deep understanding of the Australian market, and strong analytical, pricing, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, category management, or commercial business management within the IT industry, preferably in PCs or commercial hardware.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian IT market, including customer needs, the competitive landscape, and distributor and reseller channels.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with experience in business planning, pricing, forecasting, and product lifecycle management.
  • Ability to translate market insights and customer requirements into product positioning and actionable business plans.
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within Australia, no overseas applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth and performance of the commercial product portfolio through product strategy, competitive positioning, and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and deliver business plans, align internal teams and external partners, and ensure the portfolio meets customer needs and company objectives.
  • Coordinate with Marketing on activities within the overall corporate plan to meet objectives.

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Commercial Product Manager to join our System Commercial Business Group in New South Wales, reporting to the Head of Commercial – SYS BG.

This role is responsible for driving the growth and performance of the commercial product portfolio through product strategy, competitive positioning, and lifecycle management. This role is accountable for developing and delivering business plans, aligning internal teams and external partners, and ensuring the portfolio meets customer needs and company objectives.

Key aspects of the role are including but not limited to:

  • Identify customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape;
  • Identify opportunities to out-position competitors based on areas of product differentiation, both in the short and long term;
  • Manage lifecycles and product positioning in the market place;
  • Take full responsibility for business plans and business results;
  • Coordinate with Marketing Department on marketing activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives;
  • Interacts internally and externally with executive management involving negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy.

Qualifications:
