Job summary

Lead Commercial Strategy Across Complex Engineering Projects

Working closely with senior stakeholders, project teams and clients, you will lead contract negotiations, manage commercial risk, drive claims and variation strategies, and ensure effective contract governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the negotiation, review, drafting and execution of commercial contracts, subcontracts and project agreements.


• Provide expert commercial and contractual advice to project and business leaders.


• Manage contract risk assessments and mitigation strategies across the project lifecycle.


• Lead claims, variations, extensions of time and dispute resolution activities.


• Establish and maintain robust contract governance frameworks and processes.


• Support tender and bid activities through commercial risk reviews and negotiation strategies.


• Facilitate commercial project reviews and provide reporting on commercial performance and risk exposure.


• Drive continuous improvement in contract management practices across the business.


• Partner with project, procurement, finance, legal and operational teams to achieve project success.
